Broker RXO sees TL spot rate surge extend into Q3

Freight broker RXO said Tuesday that its truckload spot rate index recorded its biggest sequential gain in five years during the second quarter. Two cases making their way through the federal court system on the issue of broker liability have been added to the pool of litigation closely watched by the 3PL industry following the Supreme Court’s Montgomery decision.
