Оголошений на конференції SIBCON 2026 план Сінгапуру щодо ліцензування плавучих сховищ ЗПГ послідував за видачею восьми ліцензій постачальникам бункерного палива ЗПГ у липні та рекордними продажами бункерного ЗПГ у 2025 році на рівні 571 400 тонн.
На SIBCON 2026 Сінгапур окреслив стратегію бункерингу багатьма видами палива, що охоплює аміак, СПГ, біометан та етанол, з рекордними продажами бункерного СПГ та планами щодо проведення найбільшої у світі операції з бункерингу етанолом.
