This move integrates the trading house into the primary representative body for Switzerland’s international trade sector. The association includes major trading entities, financial institutions, and logistics providers, serving as a central hub for the country's vast global trade network and professional collaboration.

The membership signals Alkagesta’s intent to follow international compliance benchmarks and ethical governance frameworks. According to Bunker Market, the trading house will participate in specialized working groups, industry events, and educational programs organized by the Geneva-based association. The firm stated that joining the organization is a "testament to Alkagesta’s values" regarding transparency and reliability as it seeks to strengthen partnerships within the Swiss ecosystem.

Suissenégoce represents more than 190 member companies involved in shipping, trade finance, and commodity trading. The association functions as a central advocate for high standards of conduct and sustainability, fostering communication between private industry leaders and government authorities. By joining this group, Alkagesta aims to contribute to Switzerland's established reputation as a global center for transparent and innovative commodity trading operations.

Founded in Malta in 2018, Alkagesta has grown into a significant market participant with 17 global offices and a workforce of over 150 professionals. The company manages annual commodity flows exceeding 7 million metric tons and maintains a storage capacity of 700,000 cubic meters across Asia and Europe.
